What exactly is the Renaissance Club?

Well, it's a club started a few years ago at Colonial Heights High School in which club members come together every term/nine weeks to evaluate a multitude of recommendations for both students and teachers for the "student of the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th nine weeks" and the "teacher of the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th nine weeks." The club members are only able to choose one student and one teacher per term, so decision time is vital. The club typically awards those who are underrepresented and under appreciated. Winners are awarded gift cards and are presented in front of the faculty and teaching staff.
